Audiograph is like a seismograph for sound. It measures the sound level in a space and creates a visual timeline of this level. It’s like a real-time score of the everyday noise and the sounds we make. The installation was created by Christopher Ruggio.

overengineered project.
use a speaker with a heated needle and receipt paper. speaker moves the needle from sound motor drags paper , needle heats and colors zink receipt paper black.

Hi Antima, I agree, there could probably be a simpler way of doing this. But I think this isn't just a piece of functional equipment. Rather, it's a piece of art with a function. And art isn't always about doing things as efficient as possible.
